What this site does not do

No cookies, no analytics, no tracking pixels, no embedded fonts from third-party servers. All fonts and scripts are served from this domain.

Hosting and server logs

This site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages (Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA). When you open a page, Cloudflare processes your IP address, browser type, time of request and the requested URL to deliver the page and to protect against abuse. Legal basis: legitimate interest in a secure and reliable website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Cloudflare is bound by the EU Standard Contractual Clauses and the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. Local storage

Your language and dark-mode choice are stored in your browser's local storage. Nothing is sent to us. This is strictly necessary for the function you selected and needs no consent (§ 165(3) TKG 2021).

Purchases

Templates are sold through Lemon Squeezy, LLC (USA) as Merchant of Record. When you buy, Lemon Squeezy collects your name, email address, billing country and payment details and processes them under its own privacy policy: lemonsqueezy.com/privacy. We receive your name, email address and order details to deliver the files and handle support (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). Order data is kept for seven years under Austrian tax law (§ 132 BAO).

Your rights

You can request access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability, and you can object to processing based on legitimate interest. Write to hello@getmodus.design. Who you buy from

All purchases on getmodus.design are processed by Lemon Squeezy, LLC as Merchant of Record. Lemon Squeezy is the seller for your purchase, issues the invoice, collects VAT and handles refunds. Their terms apply to the purchase: lemonsqueezy.com/terms. Modus Design licenses the template to you under the terms below.

Delivery

After payment you receive a download link for a ZIP file with the HTML, CSS, JavaScript and asset files of the template. Updates to the same template are free through the same link.

License

One purchase grants one license for one end product, meaning one website for yourself or for one client. You may edit the code, change the design and use the template in a commercial project.

You may not resell, sublicense, share or redistribute the template or its source files, whether modified or not, as a template, theme, starter kit or part of a template marketplace. You may not use the template for more than one end product without buying another license. Copyright stays with Modus Design.

Demo photos are placeholders from stock sources under their own licenses and are not part of the license. Replace them in your project.

Refunds and right of withdrawal

The template is digital content delivered immediately. By downloading you agree that delivery starts before the end of the 14-day withdrawal period and that the right of withdrawal lapses once the download starts (§ 18(1)(11) FAGG). Refund requests for faulty files are handled by Lemon Squeezy under its refund policy; write to hello@getmodus.design first and we will sort it out.

Warranty and liability

Templates are provided as they are. We fix reproducible bugs in the template code. We are not liable for indirect damage, lost profit or problems caused by your own changes, third-party hosting or browser differences, except in cases of intent or gross negligence, or where statutory consumer rights say otherwise.

Governing law

Austrian law applies, excluding the UN Sales Convention. For consumers, mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence stay in force.

Modus Design räumt dir eine Lizenz ein: ein Kauf, ein Endprodukt (eine Website für dich oder einen Kunden), Bearbeitung und kommerzielle Nutzung erlaubt. Weiterverkauf, Weitergabe oder Verbreitung des Templates oder seiner Quelldateien als Template, Theme oder Starter Kit ist untersagt. Digitaler Inhalt, sofortige Lieferung: Mit dem Download erlischt das Widerrufsrecht (§ 18 Abs. 1 Z 11 FAGG). Gewährleistung für reproduzierbare Fehler im Template-Code, Haftung nur bei Vorsatz oder grober Fahrlässigkeit, zwingende Verbraucherrechte bleiben unberührt. Es gilt österreichisches Recht.
